International Student Scholarships

The University of Alabama offers a generous scholarship program for students enrolling in the main campus fall term. International incoming first-time freshmen admitted before March 1, have a qualifying composite score on the ACT or total score on the SAT (critical reading and math scores only) by the end of February, and have at least a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA through December of the senior year will be eligible for the following automatic merit-based scholarships:

Collegiate 28 ACT or 1300-1320 SAT 3.50+ $10,000
Capstone 27 ACT or 1260-1290 SAT 3.50+ $8,000
Capstone 28-29 ACT or 1300-1350 SAT 3.00-3.49 $8,000
Crimson Legends 25-26 ACT or 1200-1250 SAT 3.50+ $6,000
Crimson Legends 27 ACT or 1260-1290 SAT 3.00-3.49 $6,000

A Note About Test Scores The optional writing section on the SAT is not required for admissions or scholarship purposes. The writing section of the ACT is not required for admissions or scholarship purposes.

Students admitted Before January 15 and submit a scholarship application with all required supporting documents by the deadline will be eligible for competitive university and departmental scholarships.
